Due to a programming error, their effect isn't taken account, which means that you can use Synchronize instead for the nature, because you won't be able to increase the successul fishing rate. (This error was deleted in HgSs).

--2) Great Marsh
Useful link :
http://shinyshunters.free.fr/SafariDPPt.html

Encounter slots for every zone are given.
The Green value represents the total chances to catch the Pokemon.
The Red value represents the chances for the Pokemon to flee every turn.
(I put this link for the detail of the percentages)

When I wrote "Binocular" Pokemon on the Repel files, it mentions any Pokemon that is daily on Great Marsh.
The list of these Pokemon, and the chances they have to be picked (before and after National Dex obtention) are on the given link. (the first stipes of Pokemon with probabilities like 5/32).

Also, Wishcash doesn't have a Flee Rate, so it can't flee, making it the easiest Safari Pokemon ever.

--3) Pokeradar

Using Pokeradar is another method of hunting, which is really powerful, because when done correctly, one can do long chains of Pokemon.
The main point is to make lots of chains, and avoid any Shiny Patch (the ones containing a Shiny, or else you kill it) in order to find a Shiny in a non-Shiny patch.
By doing this, the number of Pokemon you're chaining are around 70% of the total Pokemon you are seeing, which is the main advantage of Pokeradar.
Any Pokemon in grass patch can be hunted at 70% using this method (even rare Pokemon or Pokemon that only appear with Pokeradar) (the exact % will depend on your experience with Pokeradar, and doing long chains).

Furthermore, this method isn't really slow, and its speed will always be the same whatever the Pokemon you're hunting may be.

--4) GBA Insertions
When inserting a 3rd gen Version into a DS/DSlite, some Encounter Slots in DPPt can change, giving 8% (or 4% & 4%) new Pokmon.
The Inserted Pokemon are :
Fr :
Caterpie, Metapod, Ekans, Arbok, Growlithe, Elekid

Lg :
Weedle, Kakuna, Sandshrew, Sandslash, Vulpix, Magby

Ruby :
Seedot, Nuzleaf, Mawile, Zangoose, Solrock

Saphire :
Lotad, Lombre, Sableye, Seviper, Lunatone

Emerald :
Pineco, Gligar, Shuckle, Teddiursa, Ursaring

Any Game :
Spectrum, Gengar

In some areas, GBA Insertion can also change the % of certain Pokemon, like Cleffa in Mt Coronet or Bibarel/Staravia at Verity Lake.

--5) Infinite Battle
Starting from 4th Gen, Struggle deals 1/4 of the user's HP as recoil Damage (which means that 4-5 Struggle will kill its user).
Furthermore, its Accuracy is infinite, and hits any Pokemon (even Shedinja).

To avoid any self killing from a Shiny, the best option is to give it HP to counter the recoil damage (giving PPs with Leppa Berries would be limited because they can't respawn).
This strategy works for every Pokemon in the game (except Safari Zone), and ensures 100% of catching without using Master Ball.

The main strategy has this form :
Rendering carefully the Pokemon inoffensive (Reducing Atk, Accuracy, using Damp against Selfdestruct, Soundproof against Roar, Mean Look against Teleport,Skill Swap against Pressure,...)
When total PP are near 5, give Leftovers with Trick
Then go onto a Pokemon with Pain Split / sleeping move / Protect

Pain Split is a move that adds the actual HP of both Pokemon, and gives back to both of them half of the value.

Pain Split will be used to heal completely the wild Pokemon, while Leftovers gives HP back every turn.
Sleeping Move + Protect are here to increase Leftovers effet :
The wild Pokemon loses 1/4 of its full HP per Struggle
Leftovers heals 1/16 of full HP per turn, so 4 turns counter the losses of Struggle.
If the Pokemon is asleep, he can't use Struggle, and if you use Protect, Struggle will miss.

So if you use Protect before using a sleeping move, and do it everytime the Pokemon wakes up, he won't loose an important percentage of its life in the end, which means that it won't stay at the border between life and KO, and that Pain Split will be used when sleeping states will be too short.

Possible Pokemon :
Gengar, Tangrowth, Drifblim, Gallade, Smeargle

Best Pokemon :
Tangrowth, Drifblim

They learn Pain Split with Move Tutor (costs Battle Points), and learn a sleeping move (Hypnosis, Sweet Kiss, Sleep Powder) by Level or Egg Moves.

This Pokemon has to be as high in HP as possible, (for High-levelled legendaries) so select one with good HP Ivs, give him 252 HP Ev, and make it Lv 80 or more.
ex : a Lv 70 Ho-Oh has 228 HP or more, so if you want to heal it completely, your Pokemon shall have more than 400 HP.

Also, buy tons of Balls, healing items, take and PP restoring items (against a legendary, the battle can be really long),X Accuracy, X Speed, X Defense, and Leftovers (held by wild Snorlax / Munchlax or found at Victory Road in DPPt).

You will need two Leftovers : the first will be given to the wild Pokemon with Trick, and the second will be on your Pain Splitter Pokemon, because Pain Split is really effective if your Pokemon is at nearly full health.
X Accuracy / Speed / Defense are here to strenghten your Pain Splitter : he will not miss its sleeping move, be faster than the wild Pokemon, and not take lots of damages on Struggle turns.

To reduce the frequency of Struggling, you can also use Attract if the opponent is gendered (which means that you would have 2 Pain Splitters).

To Resume :
Count the remaining number of PP of the Pokemon
Counter any dangerous move or special ability the Pokemon Possess
Have a Pokemon with Leftovers + Trick (ex : Kadabra Lv 43)
Have a Pokemon that will weaken and tank the opposite Pokemon until he runs out of PPs.
Have a Drifblim / Tangrowth with Pain Split, Protect, Sleeping Move, Attract (if wanted) and Leftovers, High Level, 252 HP Ev.
Have Balls, Full Restore, PP healing items, X Accuracy, X Speed, X Defense

Throw Balls only when any other move is not needed (that would be 2 Balls in 4 turns in general).

You can also use Paralysis instead of Sleep, and use Igglybuff (who can't learn any sleeping move, but a Confusing Move).

Arceus is a special case, because its special ability blocks Trick, which means that you will have to rely on sleeping turns only to heal yourself and throw balls. (which means that it will be riskier, but if you're careful enough, everything will be fine)
Example of infinite battle used on Arceus : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sYG9xcd7AAQ (Watching 7-8 turns would be enough)(here, Paralysis and Confusion were used instead of Sleep, but it increases the difficulty of the capture).

--6) Honey Trees

See Repel Mechanics to have explanations for this method.

--7)Cute Charm :

Due to progamming choices, Cute Charm affect the chances of finding a Shiny Pokemon.
If the player hasn't a particular combination of ID and SID, he will have 1/24.576 chances to find a Shiny if it can be Male or Female(and this Shiny won't be affected by Cute Charm, so its sex will be random)(because Cute Charm doesn't work on Pokemon that are not sexuated, or are only Male or Female).

But that means that some Pokemon who are not sexuated can be hunt with this ability.
In the Repel file are given all the locations where Cute Charm will be useful (using it elsewhere would just be a loss of time), provided with the new probability to find a Shiny (the more assexuated Pokemon there are, the more this probability is near 1/8.192).
